University Of Port Harcourt Issues Final Notice To Outstanding Convocation Prize Winners.
The University of Port Harcourt wishes to once again notify all Prize Winners of the 33rd, 34th, 35th and 36th Combined Convocation Ceremonies who are yet to receive their prizes to urgently submit their account details for payment.
Affected prize winners are requested to visit the Academic Office, University of Port Harcourt, to provide their account details. Those who are unable to do so physically may forward the required information via email to [email protected].
All account details must be submitted on or before Tuesday, 21st July, 2026.
Please note that this is the final notice on the matter. The University therefore urges all concerned prize winners to comply within the stipulated deadline.

Prof. Godfrey Ngozi Woke Emerges as New Dean of Students' Affairs, University of Port Harcourt.
Prof. Woke succeeds Prof. C. C. Wokocha and as Dean of Students' Affairs, he will oversee matters relating to students' welfare, leadership development, discipline, and student engagement, while working closely with the Student Union Government and other student bodies to foster a conducive academic and social environment.
The appointment comes as the University, under the leadership of the 10th Substantive Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chike, Princewill R. Chike, continues to pursue its vision of academic excellence, institutional harmony, and enhanced student development.

Senator Amaechi Tamunotonye Walson Led-SUG Executive Council Meets with Vice Chancellor Prof. Chike Princewill R. Chike and University Management.
The Executive Council of the Student Union Government, University of Port Harcourt, held a strategic meeting with the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chike, Princewill R. Chike, alongside members of the University Management, to discuss issues of mutual interest affecting the University community.
Present at the meeting were the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Princewill R. Chike; Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration and Advancement), Prof. Chukwudi Onyeasor; Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics), Prof. Rosemary Ogu; Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Development), Prof. Angela Frank-Briggs; Dean of Students' Affairs, Professor Godfrey N. Woke and other Principal Officers.
The SUG delegation was led by SUG President, Senator Amaechi Tamunotonye Walson, alongside SUG Vice President, Comrade Etim Blessing Bassey, SUG Senate President, Senator Bestman Ayebaye Ilegimokuma Desmond, SUG Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Dimkpa Noble Ka-Alenebari Lah, and other members of the SUG Executive Council.
Discussions centered on sustaining peace across the campus, strengthening collaboration between the Student Union and the University Management, and ensuring a peaceful transition of the Student Union Government ahead of the forthcoming elections.
In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Chike encouraged the student leadership to remain committed to promoting peace, prioritizing the welfare of students, and maintaining a cordial working relationship with the University Management for the continued growth and progress of the University.
