📚 213th Uniport Inaugural Lecture: The Students' Dean Takes The Podium!
For many students of the University of Port Harcourt, he is more than an academic. He is a mentor, an administrator, a listener, and one of the most familiar faces in student affairs.
From matriculation ceremonies to convocation, from leadership engagements to student welfare initiatives, Professor Chima Chibuike Wokocha, the Dean of Students' Affairs, has consistently played a pivotal role in shaping the student experience at Uniport.
Now, the distinguished scholar is set to add another remarkable chapter to his academic journey as he delivers the 213th Inaugural Lecture of the University of Port Harcourt.

The Nigerian Red Cross Society, Uniport Detachment is set to host the First Aid & Emergency Response Training 3.0, a three-day intensive programme designed to equip participants with practical life-saving skills.
Participants will be trained in:
✅ First Aid
✅ Basic Fire Fighting
✅ Basic Life Support (BLS)
✅ Certification upon completion
📅 Date: 18th – 20th June, 2026
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon Daily
📍 Venue: Uniport Sports Institute, Abuja Campus
Theme: "You Too Can Save A Life!"
At a time when emergency response knowledge is more important than ever, this training offers an opportunity to become a first responder in your community and make a difference when it matters most.
