About Cikamo

Who we are
Cikamo was created out of a simple observation: students needed a dedicated space that general-purpose social networks simply could not provide. A place shaped around academic life, peer support, and genuine community — not passive scrolling or entertainment feeds.
We are a team of educators, technologists, and former students who believe that the connections you make during your school and university years can define your future. Cikamo is our way of ensuring those connections happen intentionally, in an environment designed for learning and mutual growth.
Our platform is built on three principles: safety, so students can engage without fear; substance, so conversations have real academic and personal value; and inclusion, so every student — regardless of background — feels welcome.
