2. Generate your Remita Code (RRR). Pay #12,000.00 online using your ATM card or print the slip to pay at any bank branch.

3. Log back in to confirm payment, complete the online form, and print your Photo Card (your exact screening batch/venue will be on it).

The University of Port Harcourt has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Bonn, Germany, in a move aimed at strengthening academic and scholarly collaboration between both institutions.

The agreement is expected to foster fruitful cooperation between the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Port Harcourt, and the Faculty of Arts at the University of Bonn.

Speaking on the development, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, Prof. Owunari Georgewill, commended Professor Daisy Onyige for her dedication and commitment in ensuring the successful completion of the agreement. Appreciation was also extended to Professor Dr. Hoch and Professor Dr. Conermann for their immense support and encouragement throughout the process.

This partnership marks another significant milestone in Uniport’s drive towards global academic excellence, international collaboration, and institutional growth.

Convened through the Office of the Chief Judge, DIMKPA NOBLE KA-ALENEBARI LAH, this initiative reflects purposeful service, quiet leadership, and a shared responsibility to uplift student life.

Special recognition goes to the University Management for their support in ensuring the smooth and successful execution of the program. In commemoration of World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026, the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria – Young Pharmacists Group, in collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Association of Nigerian Students (PANS Uniport Chapter), the Office of the Chief Judge, SUG Uniport, and the Leo Club of Uniport, successfully carried out the impactful “Pad-A-Girl” outreach themed: “No Girl Should Be Left Out of the Hygiene Process.”

The outreach was powered by Hon. Justice Dimkpa Noble Ka-Alenebari Lah, Chief Judge of SUG Uniport, whose support and commitment contributed immensely to the success of the programme.

The event brought together students, health advocates, and stakeholders to promote menstrual hygiene awareness, break stigmas surrounding menstruation, and support young girls through education and the distribution of free sanitary pads.

Speaking during the programme, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, Prof. Owunari Georgewill, emphasized the importance of menstrual health awareness, dignity, and support for girls and women. He called for collective efforts towards ending menstrual stigma and ensuring every girl child has access to proper hygiene materials and education.

The programme featured engaging conversations, health education sessions, awareness campaigns, and advocacy aimed at promoting healthy menstrual practices while creating a more supportive environment for women and girls in society.

The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics) Prof. Rosemary Ogu and the Dean of Students Affairs Prof. C.C. Wokocha were in attendance.

Special appreciation goes to Hon. Justice Dimkpa Noble Ka-Alenebari Lah, the collaborating organizations, and every volunteer whose dedication made the outreach impactful and successful.

Together, we can build a world where no girl is held back because of her period.
