Today, we are looking at Matthew 5:14-16. You are the light of the world—a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden.

There is a law that governs the earth and the spirit, and it is as simple as it is unwavering: You cannot cheat the ground. It is absolute madness to plant corn and expect to reap plantain. Yet, so often in life, we find ourselves surprised by a harvest we didn’t prepare for.

Today, we are looking at Psalm 27:8-9. When the Lord said, "Seek ye my face," the heart didn't hesitate—it responded, "Thy face, LORD, will I seek."

Our lives are a reflection of where we have been putting our time and our heart. What you consistently chase is what will stand up and defend you when everything else falls away.

Have you ever sat in a cool breeze and realized that while the wind hits everyone, not everyone feels the effect?
It’s a beautiful scenery, but it carries a deep lesson: You can be in a place and yet not feel the effect of that environment.

There is a specific kind of pain in the words: “I’ve known him for so long, I worked with him, but I never evolved.” It’s a sobering reality—you can inhabit a healthy, growth-oriented environment for years and remain exactly the same. You can be in the presence of greatness, or even the Presence of God, and stay stagnant if you aren't growing with the environment.

Growth isn't automatic; it’s an intentional absorption. It is a gift to be in an environment that helps you grow, but the responsibility is to grow WITH it.

Often, we are like that man—waiting for someone to "push us into the water" or waiting for a specific "stirring," forgetting that the One who is responsible for the stirring is standing right in front of us.

But while we are all about the festivities, it’s easy to say "Jesus is the reason" and still forget that He’s the reason why salvation is easy—the reason there is an atonement for the guilt, the shame, and the pain.

In John 1, we see the Word that became flesh and dwelt among us. He was touched and felt, yet many knew Him not. He gave His life so that we might become light.

But here is the revelation: the scripture says by His stripes we were healed. Not "are," not "will be." It means the miracle already happened.

Is the Resurrection just a yearly holiday to you, or is it a present reality you walk in?

What started as a simple space for Uniport information dissemination has grown into a living, breathing platform where people gather to reflect, learn, resolve issues and grow together.

Over the past year, Unique Stoary has become a meeting point for real voices and real journeys. Through our conversations, live sessions, shared reflections, and weekly moments like StoaryTime, BOLD Conversations, Sunday Stoary we’ve seen how stories connect hearts, spark faith, and remind us that no journey is ordinary.
