Uniport SUG Director of Sports Lifts Suspension on SSLT Freshers’ Cup. The Students’ Union Government (SUG), University of Port Harcourt, has lifted the indefinite suspension placed on the SSLT Freshers’ Cup, with immediate effect. The decision followed a mandatory meeting between the SSLT leadership, tournament organizers, and the Uniport SUG Directorate of Sports, where all conditions for the resumption of the competition were fully met. Necessary assurances on safety, discipline, and conduct were also provided. In a statement signed by the Uniport SUG Director of Sports, Comr. Bolarinwa David Holla, students were urged to maintain high standards of discipline and sportsmanship, as any form of violence or breach of peace could attract strict sanctions.
