The digital SIWES platform is for seamless management of SIWES activities in the University of Port Harcourt.

Uniport Vice Chancellor , Prof. Owunari Georgewill commended the Acting Director Dr Bobmanuel and his Deputy Dr (Mrs) Ibe for their commitment to raising the bar at the SIWES unit.

Since its launching in 1973 by the Federal Government, millions of students have passed through the scheme and obtained rich industrial work experiences that have prepared them for life after school. Some indeed used that experience as the only work experience during search for work after school.
