If You're An Introvert That Just Gained Admission Into 100 Level, Pay Attention So You Won't Lose Opportunity. Let’s kill this comfortable lie early: University does not reward silence; it rewards visibility. Nobody is going to knock on your hostel door, see you curled up on your mattress reading a novel, and hand you a leadership role, an international scholarship link, or a high-paying freelance connection just because you are "peaceful and quiet... Back in secondary school, being quiet made you the "well-behaved student.. On this campus? Being completely silent makes you invisible. And in an overcrowded lecture auditorium of 500 confused freshers, invisibility is an academic and professional death sentence. Here is the brutal mistake most 100L introverts make.. You convince yourself that your only assignment is to attend lectures, sign the attendance sheet, run straight back to your room, lock the door, and avoid human contact. You tell yourself, "I don't like drama. I'm just here for my degree. Then year after year slips by: You miss out on crucial past questions and assignment updates because you refused to say hello to the person sitting next to you. You watch students with half your brainpower land student government slots, campus ambassadorships, and fellowship recommendations simply because people actually know their names. You graduate with a first class or second class upper, step into the job market, and realize nobody knows what you are capable of doing because you spent four years hiding behind the tag of "introvert. Being an introvert is a personality type; it is not an excuse for cowardice or laziness. You don't need to suddenly become the loudest party animal or turn into the noisemaker of your faculty. You don't need 200 friends. BOLD Conversations | Episode 37 Topic: Is University Education Still Affordable in Nigeria? For generations, higher education in Nigeria was heralded as the ultimate passport out of poverty and a guaranteed pathway toward socio-economic mobility. Today, that time-honored promise faces a profound structural crisis as sweeping fee hikes hit public tertiary institutions nationwide. This topic opens up a bold discussion on rising tuition and other university fees, the financial burden on students and parents, access to education, and the responsibility of government in making public university education affordable. Is higher education becoming a privilege for the wealthy rather than a right for every Nigerian? Cost-reflective pricing and university autonomy, you argue that institutions urgently need funding to maintain facilities, support research, and ensure stable academic calendars amidst soaring inflation. But when mandatory fees double or triple overnight, the burden on struggling parents and self-funded students becomes devastating—forcing thousands to defer their studies or drop out entirely. Is institutional quality worth pricing out the average Nigerian youth? Yet, tuition-free public education, you protect equal access, social mobility, and the government’s duty to invest in human capital. Yet, with public funding stretched thin and student loan schemes facing operational hurdles, can universities survive without realistic financial backing? How do we balance institutional survival with citizen accessibility without destroying young dreams? Tonight, we dissect the economic reality every student, parent, and stakeholder must navigate today. We’ll explore the root causes of rising campus costs, evaluate government interventions, and question what the future holds. 🗓 Wednesday, October 14, 2026 | 7 PM 📍 TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@UniqueStoary Education or Exclusion? BOLD Conversations | Episode 36 Topic: Where’s the Line Cruise and Vibes Shouldn’t Cross? It’s the ultimate Gen Z culture, but recent headlines have made it a matter of life-altering consequences. Following the recent disciplinary action at Madonna University—where a final-year nursing student was expelled and 14 others suspended over a viral hospital TikTok video captioned "No sick o, na Gen Z full hospital" — we are forced to ask: where does lighthearted banter end, and real-world destruction begin? If you lean into the "cruise and vibes," you get quick engagement, viral reach, and instant connection. You build an audience, showcase personality, and participate in online culture. But when that content steps into professional spaces, clinical environments, or ethics violations, the fallout can cost years of hard work, tuition, and future careers in a single click. Is clout worth sacrificing years of sacrifice and professional ethics? If you stand for professional boundaries and strict online discretion, you protect institutional integrity, patient dignity, and your long-term career security. You don't have to worry about disciplinary panels, suspensions, or public backlash. But in an era where institutions often react with extreme measures rather than guidance, is expulsion a fair punishment or an overreaching standard? Is it possible to balance youth culture with professional accountability without destroying young futures? Tonight, we dissect the boundary every student, creator, and professional must navigate in the digital age. We'll explore where innocent fun crosses into negligence, whether institutions are being too harsh, and how to enjoy social media without losing your future. 🗓 Wednesday, October 7, 2026 | 7 PM 📍 TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@UniqueStoary Cruise or Consequences? _IT MONDAY_ *This Monday, remind yourself that you don't have to start the week with everything figured out. Take a deep breath, let go of what you can't control, and focus on the small steps in front of you. Some days will feel productive, while others may simply ask you to slow down and take care of yourself, and both are okay. You are allowed to move at your own pace, begin again, and give yourself the same kindness you so freely give to others. May this new week bring you peace, strength, hope, and little moments that remind you that you're doing better than you think.*🔥
