The University of Port Harcourt on Thursday, 12 December 2025, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Giolee Global Resources Limited, an indigenous Environmental Response company, for the full operation and revitalization of the University’s Bottling Company, which had previously performed below expectations. The signing ceremony took place at the Vice Chancellor’s Committee Room. The agreement represents a significant step in the institution’s efforts to strengthen its business ventures and boost internally generated revenue.
