The 205th Inaugural Lecture Series of the University of Port Harcourt featured an intellectually stimulating presentation by Prof. Udeme Owunari Georgewill, who spoke extensively on drug repurposing for the treatment of diseases. In her lecture, Prof. Georgewill emphasized that drug repurposing significantly reduces development timelines and financial risks associated with conventional drug discovery.
