INDEFINITE SUSPENSION PENDING DISCIPLINARY ACTION.
The Office of the Director of Sports, Students' Union Government (SUG), hereby directs the IMMEDIATE SUSPENSION of the Engineering Champions League, effective from tomorrow, Thursday 5th February 2026.
This directive follows the reported incident of fighting and the destruction of facility property (Dressing Room Glasses) at the Sports Complex. Such conduct is a gross violation of the University’s sporting code of conduct.
Consequently:
All scheduled matches and activities related to this league are hereby cancelled until further notice.
The matter has been officially referred to the Sports Committee Disciplinary Committee for thorough deliberation and investigation.
The organizers are directed to await the invitation and subsequent verdict of the Disciplinary Committee, which will determine the penalties and the conditions for any potential lift of this suspension.
Strict compliance is expected.
