The formal signing done last weekend had the Technical Director/CEO of CypherCrescent Engineer ThankGod Egbe and the Uniport Vice Chancellor Prof. Owunari Georgewill in attendance. This extension reinforces an already strong and productive partnership and signals a renewed commitment by both institutions to deepen industry–academia collaboration. For CypherCrescent, it strengthens their mandate and capacity to deliver on their objective of transferring our Engineering Innovation Unit originally developed and validated within industry into the academic environment. By doing this, they hope to institutionalize practice-driven engineering innovation within the university, tightening the link between research, real-world problem solving, talent development, and technology commercialisation.
