Uniport 47th Matriculation Ceremony to Hold on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. The University of Port Harcourt has announced the 47th Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 First Year Students. The ceremony is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 10th February 2026, at 10am at the New Convocation Arena, University Park, with matriculating students expected to be seated by 8:30am ahead of the academic procession by members of the Senate. Fresh students are required to print their Matriculation Pledge online, sign it after taking the oath during the ceremony, and submit it to their respective College Secretary or Faculty Officer afterward. Full-time students are to proceed to their Colleges, Faculties, or Schools with evidence of payment of school charges to collect their academic gowns from Thursday, 29th January 2026, and return them no later than Friday, 20th February 2026. Part-time students are advised to contact the College of Continuing Education for guidance on the collection and return of academic outfits.
