In line with established university governance procedures, the Distinguished Senator Mao Ohuanbunwa–led Governing Council met today and approved the official announcement of the commencement of the selection process. As part of the approved timeline, the advertisement for the position of Vice Chancellor will be published from Tuesday, 13th January, 2026, marking the formal opening of the process.
