UNIPORT Reschedules Second Semester Examinations Affected by ASUU Strike The University of Port Harcourt has announced adjustments to the schedule for the ongoing Second Semester Examinations following the recent Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike, which affected some examination dates. In a memorandum dated September 21, 2026, the Registrar, Mrs Gloria O. Chindah, PhD, said examinations scheduled for the remaining days of this week—from Tuesday, September 22 to Friday, September 25, 2026—will hold as scheduled, with no changes to the existing timetable. According to the adjustment, examinations that could not hold on September 17, 18 and 21 have been rescheduled for September 28, 29 and 30, 2026, respectively. The examinations will take place at the same times and venues indicated in the original timetables. The University also announced that ECO 102.2 will now be written on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Similarly, examinations originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, 2026, have been rescheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the same times and venues. The University Management urges all students affected by the adjustments to take note of the revised dates and make the necessary preparations accordingly.
