The Students' Union Government (SUG), University of Port Harcourt, through the Office of the Director of Information, has released an official notice regarding hostel accommodation applications. In a statement issued today, Wednesday, September 9, 2026 signed by the SUG Director of Information, Comrade Ogwunte Godswill Jonathan, the union notified the student body that the submission of applications for hostel accommodation has officially closed. Students who successfully submitted their applications prior to the deadline are advised to remain calm and await updates regarding processing and allocation.
