The Student Affairs Department of the University of Port Harcourt has officially announced the opening of applications for student hostel accommodation for the ongoing academic session. In an official memorandum issued on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, signed by the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Godfrey Ngozi Woke, interested students were directed to submit a formal written or typed application addressed to the Dean's Office. Submissions are to be made physically at the Old Convocation Arena between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM daily. The application window closes on Friday, September 11, 2026. The memo further emphasized that early payment of school fees is mandatory for all applicants, noting that evidence of fee payment is required to validate and finalize the accommodation process.
