SUG Suspends Sporting Activities Amid Ongoing Examinations. The Students’ Union Government (SUG), University of Port Harcourt, has announced the suspension of all sporting activities across faculties and departments in view of the ongoing examination period. According to a directive signed by the SUG Director of Sports, Comrade Daniel Duke, all sporting activities are to remain on hold until the conclusion of the examinations. The directive is aimed at giving students adequate time and a conducive environment to prepare for and participate in their examinations. All concerned students and sporting groups are advised to comply with the directive. Activities carried out in disregard of the suspension will be addressed in line with relevant regulations.
