The Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, Prof. Chike Princewill, has reaffirmed the University’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote agricultural development and food security. Prof. Princewill stated this on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, when he received a delegation from the Agricultural Policy Research Network (APRNet), led by Prof. Anthony Onoja, on a courtesy visit. The delegation congratulated the Vice Chancellor and sought his support for the forthcoming Agricultural Food Security International Conference scheduled for later this month.
