PIND Foundation, Developé U, TAGDev 2.0, RUFORUM & Mastercard Foundation Host Job Readiness Programme at Uniport.

The CBN Centre of Excellence, University of Port Harcourt, witnessed an impressive turnout as students gathered on Wednesday August 5, 2026 for a Job Readiness Orientation Programme organised by the PIND Foundation in collaboration with Developé U and the TAGDev 2.0 Programme, with support from RUFORUM and the Mastercard Foundation.

The programme equipped participants with practical knowledge and career-ready skills to ease their transition from the classroom to the workplace, while exposing them to opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Representing the Uniport Vice Chancellor, Professor Chike Princewill, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration and Advancement), Professor Chukwudi Onyeasor, commended the organisers for the timely initiative and encouraged students to maximise the opportunity to become globally competitive.

The TAGDev 2.0 Programme Coordinator, Professor Ibisime Etela, noted that the orientation was designed to prepare final-year students for employment and successful careers after graduation.
