OFFICIAL STATEMENT Due to the conflicting information and the series of complaints received from the dissolved Students’ Union Government (SUG) executives of the University of Port Harcourt, as well as reports submitted by the Zonal Coordinator and the Vice President (Special Duties), I will be visiting the University of Port Harcourt this week to engage with the management and all relevant stakeholders with the aim of finding a lasting solution to the issues at hand, so that peace, stability, and democratic order can finally and ultimately return to the Union. I also wish to use this medium to appreciate the University Management for the efforts made so far in curtailing the crisis and maintaining peace within the institution.
