THE SENATE
The attention of the Senate has been drawn to some of the anomalies going on which are:
1. The impersonation of the Senate leadership masterminded by Sen. Uranta who have taken a route that is highly unconstitutional and insults the entirety of the legislative arm.
2. That Sen. Uranta has for in the last 24hrs been parading himself as an acting Senate President, which is an aberration.
3. That the leadership of the Senate have undertaken a series of memos awash the media stating that the Executive President Comr. Tonye Olaziba has dissolved a Judiciary Council approved by the Senate without stating formally what led to the dissolution.
Going by the aforementioned observations, the Senate states unequivocally that:
1. That Sen. Uranta is acting on his own and in the isolation of the Senate led by Sen. Ayabaye Bestman.
2. That the general public and the students community disregards forthwith any publication by any quarter acting on behalf of the Senate.
3. That we want to state clearly that the Senate has not received any letter stating that the Executive President has dissolved the Council through the Clerk.
That the Senate has not received any letter stating that the Executive President has dissolved the Council through the Clerk. Any dissolution is nullity and that as of the time of this publication, the only recognized Judiciary Council is that led by Comr. Alasia Ralph Ibim as the Chairman.
