Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, on arrival for the University of Port Harcourt Convocation Lecture was received by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Owunari Georgewill, the incoming Vice Chancellor Prof. Princewill Chike, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics) and Chairperson of the 36th Convocation Planning Committee, Prof. Rosemary Ogu, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Development), Prof. Angela Frank-Briggs, the University Registrar Mrs Gloria O. Chindah PhD, alongside other principal officers of the University.
The Honourable Minister was accompanied by his wife Hon. Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike, and his two sons, Jordan and Joaquin.
