UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT MEMORANDUM From: Registrar To: All Members of Staff Ref No: UPH/REG/30 Date: 2nd April, 2026 PUBLIC HOLIDAY The Federal Government has declared Friday, 3rd and Monday 6th April, 2026 as public holidays in celebration of Good Friday and Easter Monday, respectively. Normal activities will resume on Tuesday, 7th April, 2026. Essential services will, however, be maintained in the various Faculties, Administrative and Technical Departments/Service Units as may be directed by the Provost, CHS/Deans/Heads concerned.
