The 41st valedictory lecture series of the University of Port Harcourt held with Prof. Akaninwor talking on her experiences while in active service in Uniport. She also informed the audience on the importance of food security and suggested possible ways of tackling food insecurity in Nigeria. The Uniport Vice Chancellor, Prof. Owunari Georgewill was in attendance and he wished Prof. Akaninwor a pleasant time in retirement and also commended her for all her contributions to Uniport.
