MONETIZATION

Cikamo provides, varieties of ways to be monetized in the platform which are explained in details below:

·       TIPS (sending money to user)

The followers can send the user a tip and the amount is solely determined the follower. But there is a minimum and maximum limit on the tips you are can send . The Maximum tip is 100,000 naira and the minimum tip is 100 naira.

·       SUBSCRIPTION PACKAGE

 This gives users the ability to monetize by enabling subscription packages which followers can buy to access their post.

Cikamo does not allow the distribution of Sexual, Drug abuse, Malpractice and content under user subscription.

Any user who distributes any Sexual, drug abuse and Malpractice content should be ready to face the appropraite consequence of the law and the account user account will be terminated.

Subscription Content are solely determined by the creator and cikamo will not interfer with the kind of content shared by a creator, except in the case of drug abuse, malpractice,  pornography, DMCA complaints. So we advice users to only subscribe to credible creators that they know.

However in the case of repeated reports of a creators account or page  by 1000 users as Selling misleading subscription packages, such account will be reviewed anonymously and if claims are found to be true, account or page will be banned and may also be terminated.

·       PAID POST

The paid post is a onetime payment made so you can see a post.

User can set a particular post to be paid, which means the followers have pay to see it.

Cikamo does not allow the distribution of Sexual, Drug abuse, Malpractice and content under user paid post system.

Any user who distributes any Sexual, drug abuse and Malpractice content should be ready to face the appropraite consequence of the law and the account user account will be terminated

Creators are not allowed to engae in misleading sales. for example;

A paid post may have a description learn laravel pdf as well as a laravel image, but the paid post content may be a photo or Video rather than a pdf. This is not acceptable in cikamo and such account or page will be penalised

·       PAID CHAT

 usually for consultant, followers will have to pay before they can chat user.

cikamo has the sole right to change the terms of monetization. We will always inform you of any changes. Cikamo has the legal rights settle to disputes about  subscriptions, paid post

The subscription and paid post fee is solely dependent on the user.  User has the right to determine the price for each subscription package. But there is a maximum and minimum amount limit for the subscription and paid post.

Monetization is also available for Pages Groups.

 Cikamo has a 10% commission on every subscription and paid post 

REQUIREMENTS FOR MONETIZATION

1. Must be registered member of 1 month

2. Account must be actived

3. Account must not be a banned

4. Page must be genuine page and 2 weeks old

5. Page must not be a spam page

6. Group must be genuine and 2 week old

HOW TO MONETIZE YOUR ACCOUNT 

Step 1: Open your Cikamo web app and log in your account

Step 2: Once you are logged into your account. Go to the top left corner that displays your profile and click it

Step 3: Click on settings & privacy 

Step 4: Click on monetization and enter its settings 

Step 5: A page will be displayed showing you everything that partakes to monetization 

Step 6: After reading the details about monetization, click on the monetization activation button to be monetized and click on save changes.
