Uniport SUG Judicial Council To Hold Meeting Over Inauguration of Faculty Officials. The Judicial Council of the Students’ Union Government, University of Port Harcourt, has issued an official notice calling for a meeting with key faculty representatives to discuss and finalize plans for the inauguration of elected faculty officials. The meeting is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 4, 2026, at PS Lecture Hall, Abuja Campus by 3pm. Those expected to attend include the Electoral Committee Chairman, Electoral Committee Secretary, and President-Elect from each faculty. In a memorandum signed by Chief Judge Hon. Justice Clement Hope Onyinyechi and Deputy Chief Judge Hon. Justice Nwinuka Biaka Leeleebari, the council stated that the outcome of this meeting will decide the direction of the faculty inaugurations. The leadership stressed the importance of full attendance and punctuality, reaffirming its commitment to ensuring the inauguration is conducted with order, fairness, and dignity.
